Latitude is the UK’s favourite multi-arts festival, unparalleled in its diversity of musicians, comedians, authors, poets, theatre and the dance acts it brings to Henham Park in Suffolk each year, regularly attracting in excess of 200,000 festival fans.
FMG began working with Festival Republic over a decade ago in 2005 and the PR agency’s role has been to ensure the media coverage communicates the diverse range of acts on offer, together with the high quality of festival experience. We handle all aspects of the PR campaign from the launch event to press accreditation and on-site press office activity. Our remit extends to dealing with over 300 media and journalists on site, implementing over 600 interview requests over the course of the festival weekend.
FMG have also been responsible for securing unrivalled major media partnerships for the Latitude festival since its inception. We have secured groundbreaking broadcast partnerships with BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 4, BBC 5 Live, Sky Arts, Sky One, BBC Four, Absolute Radio, and many more who have screened and broadcast shows live from the festival over the last ten years.
2015 marked the 10th anniversary of the festival. FMG have been retained on all 10 festivals and have been pivotal in establishing the Latitude brand, as well as creating a major media presence both in the UK and globally for this internationally renowned event.
We’ve worked with the festival promoters for over a decade, testament to the quality and calibre of our work and long-standing client relationships.
